VISION and Electronica confirm upswing in image processing sector

The work involved in producing a stand at both the Vision and Electronica trade fairs during the same week has paid big dividends. FRAMOS has successfully presented its extensive and varied portfolio of image processing components together with its development services.  The “FRAMOS World” stand at the Vision trade fair had many focal points including the live demonstration of the first 10-gigabit Ethernet camera interface and the opportunity to see the Aptina MT9M033 High Dynamic Range Sensor in use. FRAMOS demonstrated to the visitors it’s capability as a developer of image processing solutions and the company provided compelling proof of its expertise in the image processing industry. Demonstrations from the numerous FRAMOS partner exhibitors also attracted the attention of the visitors. For example, the networking capability of Pleora modules was demonstrated and the latest camera and sensor developments were also displayed. At Electronica, the stand focused on presenting the extensive portfolio of components. From sensors and camera modules, through various different lenses and interfaces to finished cameras, FRAMOS gave visitors a comprehensive insight into its range. The latest developments in the GPS and DVB-T2 sectors were also exhibited. The cleverly presented image processing solutions, such as the sweet sorting machine and the 3D laser scanner, were particularly popular with the visitors to the trade fair. In retrospect, FRAMOS can look back on this year’s presence at Vision and Electronica very positively, as the number of visitors and the quality of the discussions held was considerably higher than in previous years.
