FRAMOS, the global partner for Vision Technologies, has developed an industrial grade version of Intel’s® RealSense™ Suite to provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and an IP66 rated housing. The D435e industrial 3D GigE Vision camera leverages the advantages of easy-to-integrate 3D vision in rugged environments; enabling real-time positioning, orientation and tracking of robots, automated guided vehicles, and smart machines.
An evening spent with cold drinks and a bouncy castle! More than 90 employees celebrated Summer at the FRAMOS Summer party with their families and partners. Twenty-four children blew soap bubbles and streamers into the evening, and jumped on a red fire brigade bouncy castle.
The SED-100A holographic waveguide display enhances customized hardware AR development for industrial applications with high precision and quality.
Sony Semiconductor Solutions launches a new image sensor for compact security applications. The IMX415 combines the STARVIS™ technology for excellent visibility in low light surveillance with new “Prior Low Noise Circuit” (PLNC) technology for better SNR. The IMX415 is a very compact candidate for low light applications in security and for challenging environments in industrial and factory automation.
FRAMOS announces a global partnership with 96boards, the leading technology frontier in open platform specification and compliance, to comprehensively connect the FRAMOS Embedded Vision line of sensor modules for efficient vision development.
The fourth FRAMOS® Tech Days event was a complete success - 96% of the participants were satisfied or very satisfied with this technology platform for vision developers. Throughout the two-day event, Sony Japan, Intel, ON Semiconductor, and other FRAMOS partners were on-hand. They presented the latest technologies in the fields of image sensors and embedded vision, 3D imaging, artificial intelligence, and image processing in Munich, Germany May 22-23, 2019.
FRAMOS, the leading partner for image processing solutions, is expanding its embedded vision product ecosystem from June 2019 with six new modules for CMOS sensors from Sony and ON Semiconductor. With a multi-sensor platform, FRAMOS is launching a completely new solution to support stereo, dual stereo and all-round applications. The new platform now allows the connection of up to four sensor modules to the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 development kit or alternatively to the Jetson AGX Xavier development kit for high-end applications.
Global vision partner FRAMOS® will present its embedded vision portfolio including their Ecosystem of sensor modules and Intel® RealSense™ Technology at the Embedded Vision Summit. The industry leading event showcases computer vision innovations and will take place May 20-23rd in Santa Clara, California.
“Stacked Pixel” Technology brings High Performance for Miniaturized Embedded Vision - The newly developed Pregius S line is the 4th generation of Sony CMOS image sensors incorporating Pregius™ technology. The Pregius S reaches higher performance in a smaller package with stacked image sensor technology that is based on Sony’s proprietary Global Shutter function, and a back-illuminated pixel structure. This technology allows smart embedded applications in industrial vision to benefit from imaging performance that is improved by 1.7X, while the form factor of sensor design is reduced by 40 percent. First samples of Sony’s new Pregius S line will be available from global vision partner FRAMOS®.
The fourth FRAMOS Tech Days conference will be held from May 22 to 23 in Munich, Germany, and will offer the ideal platform for vision system developers to share information and exchange ideas. This conference will feature exclusive workshop presentations by Sony Semiconductor Solutions, ON Semiconductor, Intel®, SocioNext, and FRAMOS AI about current vision developments, new products and technologies, and, future trends and innovations. The conference will focus on Embedded Vision, 3D imaging, and a broad variety of leading-edge applications.
After having revolutionized vision-based inspection with award-winning global shutter IMX250 image sensor with Polarsens™ technology, Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation has recently launched a new on-chip polarizer, the higher resolution IMX253MZR/MYR CMOS Global Shutter sensor. The 1.1” type format sensor brings a 12.37 Megapixels resolution with a 3.45 µm pixel size and four-directional polarizer directly applied to the photodiode of the image sensor chip. The IMX253 with Polarsens™ technology reaches frame rates of 64fps at 10 bits. The polarization sensor targets various industrial applications where visibility and sensing are difficult.
