The number of infections of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) worldwide is increasing daily. The outbreak is now rated by the WHO as an international health crisis and the situation is changing daily. Since Framos and especially our suppliers are very active in the Asian market, we have been working with this situation since January of 2020.
FRAMOS, a global partner for vision technologies, now offers the new ECX335S microdisplay series from Sony Semiconductor Solutions. Featuring outstanding brightness, contrast and resolution plus a wide viewing angle, this solution is suited to the fast-growing market of augmented reality (AR) devices. These include head-mounted displays (HMDs), electronic viewfinders (VFs), and small monitors. The ECX335S is an OLED panel module with active matrix colour design, exceptional brightness of up to 3,000 cd/m², Full HD resolution with 1,920 x 1,080 RGB pixels, and a diagonal of 1.8 cm (0.71 inch). Its power consumption is low even at a frame rate of 60 fps.
FRAMOS, a global partner for vision technologies, was very satisfied with the results from Embedded World 2020, despite the moderate number of visitors at the tradeshow. At the FRAMOS booth, numerous visitors took the opportunity to learn about the sensor module Ecosystem and to marvel at the underwater version of the 3D depth camera, the D435e as well as a demo of the cubemos, AI 3D skeleton tracking software.
FRAMOS, a global partner for vision technologies, is expanding its sensor module ecosystem with Sony CMOS sensors. With high sensitivity, resolution, and processing speeds, the new sensors are suitable for surveillance and inspection tasks in light-critical conditions as well as factory automation applications.
