Sony Semiconductor Solutions launches a new image sensor for compact security applications. The IMX415 combines the STARVIS™ technology for excellent visibility in low light surveillance with new “Prior Low Noise Circuit” (PLNC) technology for better SNR. The IMX415 is a very compact candidate for low light applications in security and for challenging environments in industrial and factory automation.
Leading sensor manufacturer, ON Semiconductor, has launched the AR0221 “Starlight” imager providing excellent image quality for security and surveillance applications. The AR0221 Rolling Shutter sensor is optimized for both low light and challenging high dynamic range scene performance with a 4.2m BSI pixel and an Advanced Line-Interleaved HDR. The AR0221 is available from global imaging expert FRAMOS.
The KAE-04471 image sensor by ON Semiconductor provides exceptional imaging performance, both in extreme low light applications and in direct sunlight. The new 4.4 Megapixel Interline Transfer EMCCD sensor features high dynamic range coupled with very low image noise and is available at the imaging expert, FRAMOS.
Sony Semiconductors releases its new STARVIS IMX327 sensor as a more sensitive successor to the IMX290. The 2.1 Megapixel sensor, with a 1/2.8 inch optical format, has a 1920 x 1080 pixel array utilizing a 2.9µm pixel size.
The new ON Semiconductor AR0521 is a 1/2.5” image sensor with a 5 Megapixel resolution, offering 60 fps for excellent video performance. The 2.2 µm Back Side Illuminated pixel technology enables clear, sharp digital pictures for security applications.
