The GMSL3 FRAMOS Functional Adapter (FSA) SerDes Kit converts MIPI CSI-2 output from a PixelMate™ compliant FSM+FSA to GMSL2/3, transfers it over a coaxial cable and converts it back to PixelMate™ compliant MIPI CSI-2 output.

It can be seen as an alternative option for the default cabling of our Devkits and replaces the standard Flex Cable to extend and ruggedize the cabling chain. The kit consists of a Serialier board, a Deserializer board and 5 m coaxial cable with Fakra connectors.

The GMSL solution from FRAMOS provides full GMSL3 data bandwidth of 12 Gbps at coax cable lengths of up to 14 m and is also compatible with GMSL2 configurations at maximum 6 Gbps / 15m. The modular design can be seamlessly integrated into any application and is fully compatible with other FRAMOS Sensor Module Ecosystem components or customized to suit any your specific project requirements.
