We have a solution for every application at the appropriate price level. If you cannot find the model you are looking for in our product range, we can support your individual development based on our modular camera platforms and development services:

FPGA development

In software development, FRAMOS offers imaging system developers new ways to reduce costs, accelerate development and simplify their systems. This is achieved by storing image pre-processing and image analysis on freely-programmable electronics components known as FPGAs. These FPGAs are normally included in the camera hardware or can be integrated in embedded systems in the periphery of the image sensor. They perform superbly thanks to parallel signal processing, whilst component costs remain reasonable and power consumption is relatively low. Our customers can also have access to the source code (VHDL, Verilog, C) for all our FPGA image processing components. To make evaluation easier we also offer PC-based reference implementations on FPGA development boards from all the well-known manufacturers. When you come to implement your image processing algorithms on your camera, we are happy to assist and support you in the process, giving you the benefit of experience we have gained from our involvement in a number of projects of the same nature.
