This FRAMOS Partner Sensor Module provides the Omnivision OV5640 sensor on a very compact 21.58 mm x 8.5 mm module. The Rolling Shutter sensor has a native resolution of 5 [MP] and an optical format of 1/4 inch at a pixel size of 1.4 x 1.4 µm. The Module has a MIPI interface with up to 2-data lanes. As part of the FRAMOS Partner Module Network, it is offered with a huge flexibility of customisation and an universal evaluation kit. Optionally FRAMOS can be requested to provide Module Processor Adapters (MPA) design services as well as software driver design services for allowing to connect to variety of proprietary processing platforms.
Everything needed to start-up and get an image out of this module can be purchased off the shelf allowing it to be immediately evaluated once received and put together. For evaluation purposes, FRAMOS recommends the purchase of the Sensor module, its adapter and universal USB based EVK kit.
