This FRAMOS Partner Module provides the Sony IMX258 sensor on a very compact 38 mm x 35.8 mm module. The Rolling Shutter sensor has a native resolution of 13 [MP] and an optical format of 1/3.06 inch at a pixel size of 1.12 x 1.12 µm. The Module has an USB interface which is UVC compliant. As part of the FRAMOS Partner Module Network, it is offered with a huge flexibility of customisation and can be evaluated by directly plugging it to a PC. Optionally FRAMOS can be requested to provide Module Processor Adapters (MPA) design services as well as software driver design services for allowing to connect to variety of proprietary processing platforms. Everything needed to start-up and get an image out of this module can be purchased off the shelf allowing it to be immediately evaluated once received and put together. For evaluation purposes, FRAMOS recommends the purchase of the Camera module and connecting it to windows/linux PC.
