In selecting HUKI, the Croatian Office for Creativity and Innovation (hrv. Hrvatski Ured za Kreativnost i Ideje), for the FRAMOS Donation Program, I chose them because they are one of Europe’s leading non-profit organizations focused on non-formal education and social innovation. What truly drew me are their programs specifically aimed at children and young people, which provide valuable STEM skills. Programs like the STEM Academy, STEM Festival, and Innovation Academy are outstanding examples of how HUKI empowers the next generation to think creatively and embrace innovative solutions.
HUKI provides young people with tools they may not receive in school or at home, empowering them with confidence and essential skills to shape their futures. Programs like the Innovation Academy are particularly powerful, offering high school and middle school students a hands-on introduction to technology, robotics, and programming. I am inspired by HUKI’s ability to make these opportunities accessible to all youth, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds ensuring they have the same access to learning, growth, and success. By supporting HUKI, we’re helping build a more inclusive, skilled, and innovative society, empowering the next generation to thrive.
I am not personally involved in HUKI, but their mission aligns with my values, and I’m proud to advocate for their initiatives and positive impact on society. This organization is preparing young people for a future where STEM skills are essential, yet sometimes out of reach for some. I believe that by supporting HUKI, we are contributing to a brighter, more inclusive society where every child has the chance to discover their potential.
FRAMOS’s support of HUKI through the Donation Program is a reflection of our shared vision for the future: that the future depends on empowering young people and creating equal opportunities for all. For me, this support is more than a financial donation; it’s the investment in the next generation that gives them the momentum they need to pursue their dreams. By doing so, FRAMOS not only invests in young talent but also strengthens the very communities it serves.
Supporting HUKI is a step toward a brighter, more inclusive future where every child has access to opportunity. And that’s something worth supporting.
