In a world full of experts, it is important to work with reliable partners. With nearly 35 years of vision experience, the global imaging provider FRAMOS group is a pioneer with a deep knowledge from sensors to vision solutions. By completing the AIA Certified Vision Program in early October, FRAMOS engineers Darren Bessette and Chris Baldwin are now listed on AIA CVP’s section and have the designation of a Certified Vision Professional – Basic Level.
The AIA as the world’s largest machine vision trade association provides educational courses and knowledge testing for vision professionals. The Certified Vision Professional Basic Program includes extensive tutorials on the Fundamentals of Machine Vision which include the Beginning Lighting for Machine Vision, Beginning Optics for Machine Vision, Camera and Image Sensor Technology Basics and Image Processing Fundamentals.
The one-day intensive training finishes with an exam and with each passing grade, the attendees gain the certification credentials. To ensure the high quality standards, recertification is required every three years to maintain this designation. Darren Bessette and Chris Baldwin, both working in the Engineering Services group for FRAMOS’ North American office in Ottawa, ON, Canada, have proven their outstanding technical and market knowledge with this AIA Certification.
