Description

The Sony IMX250LQR-C is a highly versatile image sensor built for demanding industrial applications, featuring a diagonal 11.1mm CMOS active pixel array with an impressive 5.07 MP resolution. This global shutter CMOS sensor ensures high-quality, low-noise image capture, even for fast-moving objects, thanks to the Pregius technology. With 2464 x 2056 effective pixels and a 3.45 µm pixel size, it offers excellent detail and clarity.

One of the key highlights of the IMX250 is its support for high-speed imaging, capable of capturing up to 100 fps in full resolution. This makes it ideal for use in high-speed automation, factory monitoring, and intelligent transportation systems. The combination of high sensitivity, low dark current, and low parasitic light sensitivity (PLS) ensures consistent performance across a variety of lighting conditions.

The sensor operates efficiently with a triple power supply setup—analog 3.3V, digital 1.2V, and interface 1.8V—minimizing power consumption. This makes the IMX250 an excellent choice for low-power devices such as factory automation (FA) cameras and intelligent transportation system (ITS) cameras. The low power consumption combined with Pregius global shutter capabilities further supports high-speed, high-saturation imaging without distortion.

  • Resolution: 5.07 MP (2464 x 2056 pixels)
  • Pixel size: 3.45 µm x 3.45 µm
  • Maximum frame rate: 100 fps
  • Global shutter for distortion-free image capture
  • Low power consumption with analog, digital, and interface voltage support
  • Applications: FA cameras, ITS cameras, and high-speed imaging

For developers looking to integrate high-speed, high-resolution imaging into their systems, the IMX250LQR-C provides a robust solution. With its ceramic LGA package and a flexible LVDS interface, it simplifies sensor integration into various machine vision and industrial imaging systems. By leveraging the global shutter CMOS technology from Sony's renowned Pregius series, the IMX250 ensures precision, reliability, and superior image quality, even in dynamic environments.
