Description

The Sony IMX267LQR-C is a highly capable CMOS image sensor designed for industrial applications, including factory automation (FA) cameras and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) cameras. Featuring a large Type 1 (16.1mm) optical format and a resolution of 8.95 megapixels (4112 x 2176), the IMX267 delivers exceptional image clarity and precision. Built with Sony’s Pregius global shutter technology, this sensor ensures distortion-free image capture, making it ideal for fast-moving object imaging and detailed inspections in industrial environments.

The IMX267's 3.45 µm square pixel architecture provides excellent sensitivity and low noise performance, ensuring high-quality image output even in low-light conditions. Its low parasitic light sensitivity (PLS) and low dark current further enhance image quality, allowing for clear and accurate image capture across a range of challenging lighting environments. This sensor supports a maximum frame rate of 32.2 fps, making it well-suited for applications where both high resolution and moderate speed are required.

The IMX267 operates efficiently with a triple power supply systemanalog 3.3V, digital 1.2V, and interface 1.8V—resulting in low power consumption. Additionally, it offers a variable charge-integration time, which gives users precise control over exposure times to meet the specific demands of various industrial applications.

  • Resolution: 8.95 MP (4112 x 2176 pixels)
  • Pixel size: 3.45 µm x 3.45 µm
  • Maximum frame rate: 32.2 fps
  • Global shutter for motion distortion-free imaging
  • Triple power supply for efficient power consumption
  • Applications: Factory automation, ITS cameras, industrial inspection

Housed in a robust 226-pin LGA package with an LVDS interface, the IMX267LQR-C is easy to integrate into a variety of camera systems. Its large optical format, combined with Sony’s Pregius global shutter, ensures accurate and high-quality imaging in dynamic environments. The sensor's superior sensitivity, paired with its energy-efficient operation, makes it a highly reliable solution for developers working in industrial automation, ITS, and high-performance imaging systems.
