Description

The Sony IMX677-AAPJ-C is a high-resolution CMOS image sensor designed for applications that require superior image quality and performance. With a diagonal size of 7.85 mm (Type 1/2.3) and a resolution of approximately 23.91 megapixels, this sensor is ideal for capturing high-definition still images and video. It features a square pixel array with 5663 x 4223 pixels, each measuring 1.12 x 1.12 µm, providing detailed and sharp image quality.

The IMX677-AAPJ-C utilizes 12-bit digital output, allowing for the transmission of high-definition signals from the sensor, making it well-suited for still photography and video applications that require precise detail and color accuracy. The sensor supports horizontal and vertical binning and subsampling readout, enhancing performance for high-speed and high-definition video capture.

With its stacked CMOS architecture, the sensor achieves high sensitivity and low dark current, delivering low-noise performance even in challenging lighting conditions. The electronic shutter with variable integration time enables the sensor to handle a variety of exposure conditions, allowing for flexible image capture, especially in fast-moving scenes.

The IMX677 operates with three distinct power supply voltages: 2.8 V for analog circuits, 1.2 V for digital operations, and 1.8 V for the I/O interface. This multi-voltage configuration ensures that the sensor operates efficiently, reducing power consumption, which is critical in portable or battery-powered devices such as mobile cameras, drones, and other compact imaging systems.

  • 23.91 MP resolution with 5663 x 4223 pixel array
  • 1.12 x 1.12 µm pixel size for detailed and sharp images
  • 12-bit digital output for high-definition still images and video
  • Supports horizontal and vertical binning and subsampling readout for high-speed imaging
  • High sensitivity and low dark current for low-noise performance
  • Electronic shutter with variable integration time for flexible exposure control
  • Low power consumption with multi-voltage operation (2.8V, 1.2V, and 1.8V)

Packaged in a durable 148-pin ceramic package, the Sony IMX677-AAPJ-C is ideal for integration into high-performance imaging systems where high-resolution, low-noise, and efficient power consumption are key requirements. The sensor's SLVS-EC interface further supports fast and reliable data transmission, making it a versatile choice for a range of applications, including photography, industrial imaging, and consumer electronics.
