Description

The Sony IMX832-AQR is a 2.12 MP CMOS image sensor with a 6.45 mm (Type 1/2.8) diagonal, developed on Sony’s Starvis 2 platform for improved sensitivity, reduced noise, and enhanced dynamic range. Designed for modern security applications, it features triple power supply (3.3 V analog, 1.1 V digital, and 1.8 V interface) for efficient low-power operation. It incorporates RGB primary color filters and an electronic shutter with variable charge integration, delivering detailed images without smear, even in challenging lighting. Its performance makes it ideal for compact surveillance systems, door cameras, and smart monitoring solutions where consistent image quality is critical. With low dark current and optimized readout electronics, the IMX832-AQR ensures stable operation over time in continuous monitoring environments.
