Description

The Sony IMX835-AQJ1 is an 8.40 MP CMOS image sensor with a 12.84 mm (Type 1/1.2) diagonal, developed for high-sensitivity imaging in security and surveillance applications. Utilizing the Starvis technology platform, this sensor integrates a square pixel array with RGB primary color mosaic filters, providing excellent image clarity in low-light conditions. It operates with a triple power supply (3.3 V analog, 1.1 V digital, 1.8 V interface) and features an electronic shutter with variable charge-integration time for exposure flexibility. Thanks to its low dark current and smear-free design, the IMX835-AQJ1 ensures consistent image quality day and night, making it ideal for smart security systems, traffic monitoring, and urban surveillance deployments.
