For the third year in a row, the well anticipated FRAMOS Tech Days event was a complete success.
At the 2020 FRAMOS tech days event that was recently held in San Francisco Intel, Sony, Framos, and Computar were presenting to imaging experts their new developments and showing the exciting demos. With the launch of the Intel® RealSense™ LiDAR 515 depth camera, attendees were treated to an in-depth demo of the L515 utilizing the Skeleton Tracking AI application from cubemos. Sony was eager to show their TOF Image Sensor demo as well as a brief introduction of the Industrial GS Image Sensor. Computar engaged the attendees with their Lens Connect™ demo that showed a new idea of how to control lenses. Framos showed an underwater demo, utilizing a robotic arm with the newly launched IP67 industrial depth camera, the D435e. Attendees were also treated to exclusive presentations from leading embedded vision technology experts Framos, Sony, Intel, Computar, and the Embedded Vision Alliance. Preliminary results indicate that 95% of the attendees indicate that they were very satisfied with the overall event and 97% were very satisfied with the presentations delivered. Attendees are also looking forward to the new and exciting products that will be making an introduction to the image sensors market in 2020.
