Eyes on the Future: FRAMOS will be showcasing its innovative automation technologies at AUTOMATICA

Imaging is one of the key technologies for automation and is a driver for the introduction of smart factories.  Automatica 2016, the trade fair for automation and mechatronics, held in Munich from 21 to 24 June, will present new and ongoing developments in the industrial imaging sector for service robotics and human-machine collaboration. Imaging specialist FRAMOS will be exhibiting its range of innovative automation technologies from sensors to complete systems on booth B5/303.

Professionals from all sectors of industry will find new products at Automatica that will enable them to improve their production processes and manufacture higher-quality products more quickly and more cost-effectively. By combining fast, high-resolution image frequencies and interfacing directly to control systems, imaging users can customise their production processes and configure them effectively in order to achieve shorter processing times, increased productivity and improved quality.

FRAMOS will be presenting its comprehensive range of imaging components from sensors to complete systems, including cameras for industrial applications, lenses, cables, lighting and integrated plug-and-play applications. The highlight will be the presentation of the new CMOS camera platform for automation and machine vision from SMARTEK Vision. Using the concept of seamless integration, the camera series combines USB3 and GigE Vision with the latest CMOS sensors, and features durable and space-saving housings with the standard connection options. Improved processing algorithms and customisability enable the camera platform to be rapidly and easily implemented in a wide range of different industrial processes. FRAMOS will be showcasing its development and logistics services, and the technical support throughout production cycles and automation processes along the complete value chain. The global technology partner will also be providing advice on specific customer requirements for production automation and quality assurance. The imaging experts will be on hand on stand 303 in hall B5 to provide information on the latest machine vision developments and to advice on practical solutions for all manner of automation challenges.
