Popular HF-HA Lens Series Gets “Anti-shock and Vibration” Upgrade
For industrial vision applications and rough environments, ruggedized lenses are an important component to increase vision system stability and image quality. Fujifilm has recently announced an update to its popular DF/HF-HA-1B series lenses with ruggedized versions that are equipped with the unique Fujinon “Anti-shock and Vibration” technology.
The Fujinon HF-HA-1B series lenses are already in wide use across a variety of manufacturing environments, from automotive to electronics to medical. With an external diameter of only 29.8 mm, the lenses are a great fit in restrictive spaces in these industries. The upgraded series provides vibration mitigation and shock absorption within the existing design without changing the form factor.
The now ruggedized Fujinon HF-HA-1S provides mechanical robustness for reliable performance in machine vision applications such as automated assembly, quality inspection, and industrial robots and unmanned aerial vehicles and mobile applications. The lenses are compatible with image sensors up to 2/3” in a broad selection of focal lengths (6, 9, 12.5, 16, 25, 35, 50, and 75mm). The optical performance of the upgraded series is identical to the previous Fujinon HF-HA-1B. The Fujinon HF-HA-1S will become the new standard version, eventually replacing the previous HF-HA-1B lenses. this improved functionality comes at the same price as its previous generation.
One-for-all: CF-ZA Lens Series for 1.1” Sensors in Machine Vision
Fujinon’s new CF-ZA-1S series is made for the specific requirements of high-quality Machine Vision. The lens series is designed for machine vision cameras that use C-mount, up to 1.1” format imagers and pixel pitches from 2.5 µm, which results in up to 23 Megapixels. The MOD is just 100 to 200 mm with a maximum CRA at 4.9°, two specs that are required by latest high-resolution sensors. The rich feature set guarantees a high relative illumination across the entire image without vignetting.
The patented Fujinon Anti-Shock and Vibration design limits shifts in the optical axis to 10 µm while ensuring constant resolution power in typical, rough manufacturing environments. The CF-ZA lenses also come with screws to avoid their loss or the damage of sensitive manufacturing machines during installation or maintenance.
The CF-ZA lenses are very compact, they have the world-smallest external diameter of just 39 mm for the 1.1” optical format. The series provides a line-up of six different lens models with different focal lengths from 8 to 50 mm. The CR-ZA-1S is the universal one-for-all solution of modern machine vision systems.
