Sunex’s IRC21-8.75×8.75×1.0 is an absorptive IR cut filter specifically sized for Pixim CMOS sensors. Infrared cut-off filters are used with color CCD or CMOS imagers to products accurate color images. An IR cut-off filter blocks the transmission of the infrared while passing the visible. This absorptive filter is made with special optical glass that absorbs near infrared radiation.
